September's Featured Design
A former neighbor of one of our team members learned of a promotion were were doing and came to us for a "logo overhaul."
Using his original design as the foundation, we went through seven drafts, of the black-on-white version with the help and feedback of him and his business partner before choosing this version as the final. Once it was selected, I put together the other three variations on the theme. In all, from first contact to final delivery, the process was completed in less than 24 hours. They're a great company to work for and we hope to try their goods soon. |
March's Featured Design
One of our most loyal clients commissioned a special graphic to herald the birth of her son. We went through a few design ideas--all centered around the Superman theme--before we found a tutorial that inspired this one.
Using the Houses of Krypton, and the Kryptonian alphabet as our inspiration, we fashioned this "H", then followed the tutorial.
The lessons learned in our efforts to accomplish this have played a big part in what we've been able to create since.
We weren't there, of course, but she assures us that the nurses raved over the design.

Yet another branch of the Pick Your Plots Entertainment family, Pick your Path Adventure Books re-invents the adventure series for readers of all ages.
Here's what they have to say in their own words:
"Get ready for many fun and diverse adventures for literal thrill seekers of all ages! Whether it is deep in the jungle, across scorching deserts or frozen wastelands, undersea or in outer space, there will be an adventure that gets your adrenaline pumping.
"If you are the type of reader who gets excited at the possibility of 'living' vicariously through the lives of your hero's books, then Pick Your Path Adventure Books will be just your game plan."
This was the initial draft presented to our gracious client, which has since been updated, as you will see on their page.

As one of many branches of the Pick Your Plots Entertainment family, Images From Words was developed to create a new way of advertising the works of budding authors.
Here's how they describe themselves in their own words:
"This page is the gateway to an alternative form of crowdfunding, without all the rigamarole of a Kickstarter or Indiegogo campaign. There are no limitations here: other than the fact that contributors must have a Kindle device and an Amazon Prime Membership. They simply "borrow" a book using the Kindle Owner's Lending Library, selecting from a participating author. Every time a book is borrowed, Amazon pays a nice royalty to the author. These royalties are being given to Pick Your Plots Entertainment to fund short film and web series projects. The borrower pays nothing, just borrows the book for free, yet that simple act contributes to the filmmaking fund at PYPE. In exchange for this act of kindness, PYPE will list the borrower in the end credits of the film(s) they help fund, as well as provide a copy of the completed film, and a signed cast photo will be mailed to them."

This man has been in Santa's service for 27 years. He caters to the SLC, Bountiful, Tooele, Lehi, American Fork, Park City areas. He offers a discount for weekday bookings.
We can't take any credit for Santa's attire, but we were especially pleased with how beautiful the name turned out.

We were approached by Pick Your Plots Entertainment--the parent company of "Way Back When"--to do some work-in-trade.
Way-Back-When.net caters to old time radio entheusiasts who enjoy the family-friendly entertainment from yester-year.
From their website:
"Way Back When radio programs were aired from the late 20′s through the early 60′s there was more
plentiful variety in the shows that were on, compared to entertainment forms these days.
"This time, spanning 40 years, was known as the Golden Age of Radio."
