Pearl Ann Seamons, beloved Aunt to my beloved wife, was diagnosed on February 15, 2012 with Inflammatory Breast Cancer.
I first became aware of Cancer at the young age of 4, when one of my first friends was diagnosed with Kidney Cancer. Since then, over the past 22 years, cancer in its various forms has taken several members of my own family, including my father, Clifford Leroy Sheets, who succumbed to Lung Cancer on my 23rd birthday.
While we may never succeed at wishing cancer away, it is within our power to support and uplift those who suffer.
Pearl's brother, Jay Bartholomew, has organized a Silent Auction to benefit Aunt Pearl in her struggle, not only against this disease but against the financial burden that has befallen her family.
